Large Majority Want Irish Unity New Poll finds
The Ipsos MRBI study for the Irish Times showed that 62% of voters would support Irish unity, with 16% opposed – 13% said they do not know, while 8% said they would not vote.
Most voters said they would like to see a vote issue take place “in the next 10 years”, at 42%.
That is compared with 16% who said they wanted the poll to be held more than a decade into the future, 15% who want one now and 13% who said never.

99,820 EU Citizens have decided to stay in the North despite Brexit.The majority are Polish citizens.Other EU Citizens who have made their home here include people from Lithuania, Romania, Portugal and Bulgaria.

Brexit Costs 600 Million A Week
Brexit has cost the UK around £600m every week since the 2016 referendum, according to a report by Goldman Sachs that highlights the economic impact of the uncertainty surrounding Britain’s exit from the EU.
The investment bank said that Brexit has cost Britain about 2.4 per cent of gross domestic product, compared with a hypothetical “Doppelgänger” economy that did not withstand a Brexit shock. Its estimates suggest that the UK economy has underperformed other advanced economies since mid-2016 as a result.
